June Recovery Retreat

Pausing to Digest, Dream, and Discern

During the June 2026 Recovery Retreat, you will pause, clear unprocessed emotions and attachments from the 25-26 academic year, feel into your career wellness vision, begin discerning your path forward, and identify practical tools to keep you on course throughout the summer and beyond. 

The retreat will be held in two-hour sessions across three days:

  • Tuesday, 6/9 at 12:30pm ET
  • Wednesday, 6/10 at 12:30pm ET
  • Thursday, 6/11 at 12:30pm ET

Retreat Objectives

  • Process emotions and release attachments from the previous academic year
  • Identify your deep career desires
  • Practice trusting the integrity of your desires
  • Articulate career discernment questions
  • Commit to habits that keep you on course

Caveats

  • If you are already in the Sabbatical Program or the Sabbatical Alumni Group/Wisdom Circle, the June Retreat comes with your program.
  • During the week of the retreat, in an effort to practice the art of the pause, I highly recommend that you do not work or hold meetings between sessions. And if possible, I recommend limiting your work activities on the Monday before the official start of the retreat and on the Friday after the retreat has ended. Instead, turn inward (eat long lunches, take walks, etc.) and give your inner wisdom space to speak.
